Workshops

Workshops at Kultivator Explorations of now

Workshop 1

Program:

Monday 31st of August,

Arrival at Runstens B&B in the evening. Mathieu, Jane and Malin come by for a welcome dinner and drinks in the garden, introducing the programme of the explorations in Dyestad. At dusk, about 19:30, which is her morning about 10:30, artist Karin Bolender joins digitally from the Rural Alchemy Workshop (R.A.W.) and introduces the use of secretome maps, and a special reflection practice we will do together, called “The Mirror Shots”

: “It is inspired by Annie Oakley, famous in the 19th-century American Wild West for her exquisite marksmanship, and especially for a trick called ‘The Mirror Shot,’ where she would shoot a target behind her, looking over her shoulder using a small handheld mirror. Perhaps we can explore how past and future paths converge in this trick of reflection, looking forwards and backwards at the same time and aiming for something unseen.”
